The Self
Acrylic on Canvas
6 x 6 in
2024
The Self reimagines portraiture as a constellation of feeling rather than a fixed likeness. Petals, gems, and luminous forms gather into a presence that is at once intimate and ungraspable, suggesting how a person exists in memory and imagination. As the first work in the Selves series, it opens onto the idea of identity as fluid and composite, something sensed, dreamed, and continually remade.
